How to Reframe One Visual for Different Social Media Formats

A promotional image can look balanced in a wide website banner and fall apart the moment it is pushed into a square post or vertical story. A face gets clipped, a product moves too close to the edge, or the empty area reserved for a headline disappears. Simply resizing the file does not solve the problem because each format changes what viewers see first and how much room the image has to communicate its message.

The useful question is not “How do I make this image fit?” but “What must remain readable after the frame changes?” Cropping tools can handle dimensions, yet they cannot decide which visual relationship deserves protection.
